Bodywise Pilates Derby
We have a substantial amount of clinical experience, skills and knowledge to support our pilates teaching.
We will do out best to consider your individual needs within a class environment.
We love what we do and are passionate about the benefits of movement, pilates and a calm and focused mind . Holistic wellbeing is an essential part of our philosophy and we include relaxation and wellbeing techniques in our Pilates and Reflexology practice.
Bodywise Pilates Derby was started by Occupational Therapist Lesley Moran in 2007. Serena Taylor, a Physiotherapist, works with Bodywise Derby and teaches two Pilates classes at Littleover Methodist Church, on Tuesday evenings.
Lesley and Serena follow a professional code of conduct, are fully insured and committed to continued professional development. They regularly attend courses to keep up to date and fresh in their teaching, so that you can both feel the benefits and enjoy the classes . They are both qualified first aiders.

Lesley Moran
Qualifying as an Occupational Therapist (OT) with a first class honours degree in 1995, Lesley worked in rehabilitation settings for the NHS for many years, with clients with a wide range of diagnoses both individually and in groups. Lesley has specialist skills in Neurological Occupational Therapy; working with people who have MS, Parkinsons , a stroke or traumatic brain injury.
Lesley qualified as a Reflexologist in 2003 and gained a post graduate certificate of competency in Maternity Reflexology with Suzanne Enzer a midwife and internationally recognised specialist in this field.
Following this, she successfully completed her Pilates Matwork training and post graduate pre and post natal qualification with the Pilates Foundation Master Trainer Rachel Rafiefar.
